Build a template
Set up what you ask your customers for: sections, questions, files, validation and conditions.
A template gathers everything you need from a customer before you start a job. Every request you send comes from a template, so it pays to build it carefully once.
Choose where to start
- From the library: in Templates, find one such as Print quote and choose Use template. You get your own copy to adjust.
- From scratch: choose New template.
- From one you already have: open the template's menu and choose Duplicate template.
- From a document: choose Import with AI and review the draft it proposes.
Add sections and questions
- 1. Type the Template name, for example Promotional brochures.
- 2. Use Add section to group questions, such as Delivery details or Final artwork.
- 3. Use Add question and pick the Type: short or long text, number, date, single choice, multiple choice, quantity or file.
- 4. Write the Label and, if it helps, some Help text. Mark it Required if you can't start without it.
- 5. Set the validation: minimums and maximums, formats such as email or RFC, file types and size.
Everything saves on its own. You will see Saved next to the name.
Show questions only when they apply
Select a question or section and use Add condition under Show only if…. For example, the Lamination type question appears only if the customer chose With lamination. If the condition isn't met, the question is hidden and not asked.
